LR095472 - Timing Chain Tensioner C-Driving Member This panel is for left-hand-driveTiming Chain Tensioner, part of the timing chain drive within the timing cover. It applies controlled load to the timing chain guide to keep the chain taut, taking up slack and damping chain oscillation to maintain accurate valve timing as the chain wears. Applies to the V6 and V8 petrol engines (AJ133 family). Two are fitted per engine.
