The palate was lively and lovely creamed coconut, fudge and toffee to start, then zesty lemon meringue pie, lime sorbet and gooseberry fool; the slightly drying finish left traces of tar, salted leather, cinnamon, nutmeg and clove. The reduced nose discovered grapefruit, pink peppercorns and oak, used beach towels in the
