The sterling silver mount is richly decorated with Rococo and floral motifs, and the jug rests on a sterling silver round base. The fine crystal body features additional engraved workmanship including a monogram on the front, which appears to be "TC". A large shell shaped thumb rest adds further distinction to the hinged lid.
